Outrunning Leonida State Police — Full Pursuit Tier Guide

Leonida State Police behave nothing like the LSPD did in GTA V. Helicopters spawn earlier, roadblocks are procedurally placed, and every tier changes what dispatch is allowed to do.

Tier breakdown

Tier 1 is a single cruiser and no radio net. Tier 2 unlocks the chopper spotter. Tier 3 brings SWAT vans, tier 4 the Sheriff SUVs, tier 5 the National Guard with .50 cals.

Line of sight is everything

The heat cone now decays based on line of sight, not distance. Duck into a parking garage, change cars, and drive out the opposite side to shed a full tier in under 30 seconds.

Best evasion vehicles

For city work the electric hatchback is fastest because it silences the tire radio ping. For the highway, the sport bike out-turns the police interceptor at every off-ramp.

Swamp escape route

West of Port Gellhorn the airboat stashed at Hank's Bait lets you drop across the wetlands where police vehicles cannot follow. This works up to tier 4.
